Tetrisnake
A simple fusion of two classic games. Avoid letting Tetris overflow while keeping Snake alive. Snake starts with a small area, but clearing rows in Tetris expands it. Every 8 Tetris rows, the speed and score multiplier increase. And every 8 seconds new apple is spawned for the snake. Eat it or skip it to avoid growing... for awhile. Survive as long as you can!
The game is made for Falling Block Jam 2025.
Controls
- W, A, S, D to play Tetris
- Arrows to play Snake
- Esc to pause/unpause
- R to restart
- M to mute/unmute sounds
- F to toggle fullscreen mode

A challenging but very fun game. Although, maybe it's just me who struggles with multitasking. I couldn't get more than 10k points. :)

really fun! I wish that the snake game gave some visual / audio warning when the snake is nearing a collision, I definitely would have done better :P
Well, the snake is shown on screen all the time, the whole point is to keep an eye on both games. They are simple, but all becomes a lot harder when you need to constantly track both.
And also, in Tetris, we can somewhat choose stress time – we can drop a piece or keep it falling by itself and take this time to check the Snake. And in Snake, there is no way to speed it up or slow it down, it is like a clock (the SFX has a ticking sound). I also find myself doing simple mistakes all the time, but after some couple of concentrated tries I manage to do 40-50k+ points :P
