yayayyayayya I guess with close failure comes determination :3

super charming game! I love how it's stylized and think the multitasking is amazing. The buffer on the snake makes it so much more interesting joined with the buffer of tetris pieces falling. also also the sounds actually help a lot when trying to focus on one screen while waiting for an apple to be collected on the other. sometimes, i did find my input not registering when pressing two seperate-screen buttons at the same time, but it might just be my silly keyboard; i still adapted to just double checking my placement on both screens.

I wonder if it's possible to win the snake side fully and get the max points

it's a concept i never thought would be this fun, and i enjoyed it very much :)

wonderful job!

123k – Congrats! It is not your keyboard, it is the game: if you say hold S to speed up falling and while doing it press say Left Arrow, the last button will be registered and the S will stop repeating, until you press it again. A downside I know about. What do you mean by “win the snake side”? It is not possible to win the game, only to get more points before loosing, a sad reality :) You might try tactics where you avoid snake easting apples as long as you can, so it is easier to control it. But still eventually all the field will be in apples. Every 8 second – new apple. And yes, the snake has a ticking sound (like ticking bomb) – that is intentional :)

so close to 6 digit score! >:(

That is big! And I guess 2,000 points at level 9 is like one Tetris line or one apple I assume :) So yeah, that is literally very close.

I love the mix, so glad the snake moves reasonably slow at the beginning, while Tetris seems to start off quite faster in comparison but after a few attempts it all starts making sense, applying the basic strategy of preparing a good position for the falling piece while managing turns in snake, or speeding up the piece drop when snake has open space ahead.

Probably the entry I'm enjoying the most (also ignoring submissions with questionable adherence to the falling blocks theme or games made ages before the jam).

Congrats ⭐

Thank you for the feedback <3

A challenging but very fun game. Although, maybe it's just me who struggles with multitasking. I couldn't get more than 10k points. :)

Practice makes perfect :D

really fun!  I wish that the snake game gave some visual / audio warning when the snake is nearing a collision, I definitely would have done better :P

Well, the snake is shown on screen all the time, the whole point is to keep an eye on both games. They are simple, but all becomes a lot harder when you need to constantly track both.

And also, in Tetris, we can somewhat choose stress time – we can drop a piece or keep it falling by itself and take this time to check the Snake. And in Snake, there is no way to speed it up or slow it down, it is like a clock (the SFX has a ticking sound). I also find myself doing simple mistakes all the time, but after some couple of concentrated tries I manage to do 40-50k+ points :P

P.S.: Thank you for the feedback <3
